The Trailhead and Getting Started 

The Mont Ham Hiking Trail begins behind a little farm-like cabin located near the small town of Ham-Sud. There are many road signs indicating the trailhead and it is easy to find directions on Google Maps.

After a warm welcome from the Parc Régional du Mont Ham staff and paying the $6 entry fee, it's time to start the adventure!

After discussing with the park staff, I chose to go up the most difficult trail L'Intrépide. As you venture deeper into the trail, you'll find yourself surrounded by a lush and vibrant forest, climbing rocks & using ropes to get up the steep cliffs. The highlight of the Mont Ham Hiking Trail is undoubtedly the ascent to its summit. But fear not, for the reward awaiting you at the top makes every step worthwhile.

You reach the summit of Mont Ham in under one hour and it sure feels like an exhilarating achievement. Once at the top, take a moment to catch your breath and bask in the panoramic views that unfold before your eyes.
